Vacuum Elevator PVE52
Three passenger

The pneumatic vacuum elevator PVE52 model is specially designed for people with reduced mobility. This model pneumatic vacuum elevator allows the possibility of transporting a passenger in a wheelchair.

The vacuum elevator PVE52 has an outer diameter of 136 cm and accommodates up to three people (238 kg). Available in two, three, four and five stops (max. total travel 15m ) it is ideal for those who want a spacious and panoramic residential elevator in their home.

Like other models of vacuum elevators the PVE52 is installed on the existing floor and is an elevator that does not require a machine room or pit, allowing for a clean, quick and easy installation.

There are many wheelchair home lifts, but only our pneumatic vacuum elevator PVE52 gives you the space and security you need with a spectacular design. The exterior cylinder of the biggest of our vacuum elevators is made of aluminum and transparent polycarbonate. It is also the only model with stainless steel interior cabin. A perfect finish!

The vacuum elevator greatly reduces energy costs and maintenance, as our pneumatic vacuum elevator works without pulleys or pistons. This allows for low energy consumption during ascent and zero during descent. The pneumatic vacuum elevators are econfriendly elevators.

Installation Requirements

  1. Minimum height required at the ground floor is 2340mm.
  2. Minimum required height at the upper floor is 2700mm.
  3. Diameter of finished through floor hole must be 1389mm.
  4. When installing a three or four floor elevator, all openings’ circular perforations should be perfectly aligned.
  5. The electric feed shall be 220VAC single phase through an independent line of conductors of AWG N° 10 (6mm²); there shall be ground connection and a thermo-magnetic switch between 30A – 35A to be used exclusively for the elevator. The electrical supply is to be near the head (elevator’s top portion) and it is required to leave the female electrical receptacle at the top center of the elevator.
  6. 220VAC (no exceptions 220VAC must be provided, 210VAC or 230VAC is not acceptable, if installation does not have 220VAC on a regular basis, a voltage regulator or transformer must be installed by home owner). Voltage fluctuations are not covered by the warranty.
  7. If installing a phone line a phone jack is to be provided near the power supply, but isolated.
  8. It is strongly recommended that a Buck Boost or voltage stabilizer be installed along with the electrical work to prevent any damage to electrical components due to voltage fluctuation.
  9. When installing the elevator, consider the total dimensions, as a small room will generate a higher noise level. Therefore, it is not advisable to install the split motor in a very small facility.
  10. There must be an opening to make way for the cylinders of 1350mm in diameter and of 2340mm length down to the ground floor. This access may be through door or window openings.
  11. Install a hook to bear 800kg at the ceiling where the elevator is to be installed to lift the cylinders. If it is impossible to install this hook, the minimum height at the last level shall be at least 2700mm.
  12. In no case must the perforation of the ceiling be less than 12cm from the wall, in order to allow for the installation tripod.

*** Our vacuum elevators are designed for indoor applications. Outdoors application is not allowed. ***

The PVE52 is the perfect choice for those who are in need of a wheelchair-accessible elevator or the desire for a beautiful and spacious panoramic elevator within their home. This is the largest of the three vacuum elevators, capable of carrying three people, but even our largest lift takes up less space in your home than other traditional elevators. Like all other vacuum elevators, the PVE 52 does not need a separate space for machinery or additional room above and below the lift for a pit. Since the unit has a self-supporting structure, you will not have to add a frame to your home before installing it. This means you can fit this lift virtually anywhere in the home.
